Here are some close ups....
For the background I used 2 sheets of Beauty Abound, one as the background, & the other for fussy cutting, punch work & matting of the photo...Using the MS punch, I punched out Beauty Abound-BS, & Fly Away-BS, for the top & the bottom of the LO. Using a paper pierce I punched in holes for hand stitching. I also distressed the edges, & glued a piece of corrugated paper into the layers. I cut out the clock & flowers from the 2nd sheet of the Beauty Abound, made a flower cluster & glued on the Butterflies from the Layered Embellishments...For most of the chipboard I used Versa Mark ink pad-pinecone. For the chipboard-foliage, I painted it with LuminArt-Silk-Iridescent Gold, then stamped the pieces with Gabi's Crackle Texture Stamp & a Black ink pad .....
I inked the Marrakesh Trellis with the Pine cone ink pad, then glued the pieces onto the background. I then glued on some Prills, & Say it in Crystals...The "Hold on ME" comes from the backside of a lable, I used a few of them on this LO...
I altered the Floral Mixology, using a paint brush I applied Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist -Huckleberry on the Ocean Breeze & Dewberry on the Purple rain. I also changed the centers, using say it in crystals & beads. In this cluster I used Floral Mixology, Layered Embellishments, DA Floliage, String of Pearls & Say it in Crystals...
Here are a few more close ups....
I still had the supplies on my table so I decided to make a Thank You card for friends that helped me out with taking photos of our garden. I entered the garden into Canada's 150 Birthday National Garden contest, for the category of a large garden in a City & can proudly say that I won. Our garden will be featured in 3 of Canada's garden magazines. So I kept myself very busy this summer, keeping the garden well maintained & taking lots of photos.......
