Other Elements used: White Crackle Paint, Prima Glass Glitter Pearl, Clear Gesso, Tim Holtz Distress glitter, Prima Pearls, Liquid Pearls-Rouge, Prills Mini Pearls

For the paper layers I used Seafoam, Seafoam-BS & Rooster Row. I ripped pieces for the top right & lowers left, then painted the ripped edges with white crackle paint & sprinkled on some glass glitter onto the wet crackle....
I altered the flowers with removing the centers,  painting them with clear gesso, sprinkled on the distress glitter onto the wet gesso. I then applied a thick coat of white crackle onto the outside edges & sprinkled on glass glitter onto the wet crackle. Last step was to glue on the pearls as the flower centers...

I primed the white pieces of chipboard with white gesso & the other pieces with clear gesso. I then painted some of the pieces with clear or white crackle paint, sprinkling on glitter onto the wet paint. Once the crackle dried I applied a thick coat of the white crackle & sprinkled on some glass glitter onto the wet crackle.....

I used the rouge liquid pearls on the buds & layered flourish, & after the liquid pearls dried I painted the pieces with clear gesso & sprinkled on glitter onto the wet gesso.......Here are a few more close ups....

Thank you so much for taking the time to look....Rachelle

  1. Breathtaking! I love what you've done with distressing and "icing"! The whole frosty look to this is amazingly realistic. As always, I just look at your work in awe.
