From the Mood Board I used a handmade flower stem, blue, date, butterflies, strips, brads, violet, sign of spring, cool pastels, borders & vintage inspired. From the Vintage Spring Basics Collection I used 1st of April,2nd of May bs,6th of May,2nd of March,3rd of April BS,8th of April,8th of April BS,5th of April,11th of March & 4th of April. The chipboard, Victorian Baby Carriage,Rocking Horse,Sign Post,Rainy Day Theme pack are from Scrap Fx. The Blooms are from I Am Roses. Here are some close ups of detail......
I did lots of layers, some punch work & stitching. I used white picket fence crackle on all the chipboard pieces, then when that dried I rubbed in some brown chalk, then inked the edges.I used a brown distress marker on the wheels, handle on the carriage,& the bottom of the rocking horse.I then embellished ,with pearls, lace, fabric, wheels & bloom to give them a vintage look.............
I made this little cloths line, because in the spring time I always see cloths,or blankets airing out on cloths lines. I first attached the cloths pins to lace, then tied on ribbon, added blooms then cut out butterflies from 6th of May.I folded the top right hand corner,so that you could see the bird perched on the branch(1st of April),I secured the folds with brads.....
I used a couple doily's,one using Tim Holtz die cut, using 5th of April....
Love those boots,so cute,I used white picket fence crackle, once dry, I rubbed in brown chalk, then inked the edges. I hand cut the blooms & butterflies from( 2nd of March) that are in the boots.I traced & cut out pieces from(8th 0f April & 8th of April BS) then glued them on to the umbrella, added lace & a butterfly.....
I used a die cut to cut out leaves out of the (11th of March),I then applied rock candy crackle & when that dried I rubbed in brown chalk to bring out the cracks, then inked the edges. The mini Roses are from I am Roses & the butterflies are cut out from the 6th of May Sheet, this is where I used my handmade flower vine.
I also used lots of the backsides of the labels to create more layers
