I found this photo on the Romantic,Shabby & Vintage site, so beautiful,& so much fun to work with. From the Vintage Summer Basics Collection I used 1922,1923,&1946. The chipboard, cherish, candle chandelier plus window (which is actually a door but I cut it are from Scrap Fx. Here are some closeups of detail.....
I used the brick mask from prima on the window,& applied white picket fence distress crackle paint. The blooms are from I am Roses.....
Once the paint dried I applied Lindy's Stamp gang Black orchid silver, then rubbed in different colors of chalk. I also used the white picket on the chandelier plus petal pink liquid pearls.....
After I completed the window & it was dry I glued it down to the LO,then applied a thick coat of rock candy crackle on to the window panes, when the crackle dried I rubbed on some yellow chalk to make it look like the sun is coming through the window.....
I did my layers, stitching, used some lace & used ribbon in the flower cluster.I also glued seed beads onto the window. On the wordlet I just used white picket, then inked the edges........
Now that I showed you a romantic shabby vintage LO,I did using one of Maja Designs collection,I will show you the next LO,using the awesome Life by the Sea Collection that has the nautical feel to it......
From the Life by the Sea Collection I used East Coast,East Coast BS,Regatta BS,Sailing,Sailing BS,The West Coast & Marina. The chipboard used on this LO is from Scrap FX. Here are some closeups of detail....
I found this awesome photo on pininterest & the colors in this collection are perfect for it.I did my usual layers, distressing & stitching.I also used metal brads, letters & buttons to bring out the cold in the photo.....
I rolled alot of the corners, then stitched then down,I also used a few eyelets on this LO....
I love to use the backsides of the labels on the paper. The blue strip on top is from the labels I also used it on the banners & throughout the LO.....
I also did some punch work,& I love to achieve my texture by layering, distressing & stitching....
More rolling,mesh,cogs & fabric.....
Thank you so much for taking the time to look....Rachelle
Two more beautys!!The chandelier is GORGEOUS!! I always ask myself one thing in your layouts....do you use the whole PP's , or do you cut out the middle(which we dont see anyway) .
