Hi there & welcome to my blog.My name is Rachelle,I am from Manitoba, Canada. I am both proud & excited to be on the Scrap Fx design team,with all of fellow talented team members & to also show you some of my work that I have done with the amazing Scrap Fx chippies.

A Mothers Love ***Scrap Fx***

Design team work using the amazing Scrap Fx, Lazer cut Chipboard.The photo is a photo I of a friend of mine & her daughter.I used the beautiful Prima Romantique Collection on this LO. The Scrap FX pieces I used on this LO were the wordlet theme pack ( Love,Cherish,Adore) (2007219),Ornate Chandelier (2009263),Script Alpha,& the Arch Window.I first primed all the chippy pieces with gesso,let dry,then I randomly applied a bit of walnut stain,then quickly wiped it off.On the wordlets I used my finger to rub on petal pink liquid pearls,then I applied glossy accents,once dry I applied scattered straw stickles.The white part of the chandelier is gesso,with scattered straw stickles applied over,the pink part is petal pink liquid pearls,once dry I applied glossy accents,let dry then apply scattered straw stickles.Thank you for having a peek..& joining in on the blog hop!!!.Rachelle

Love of my Life ***Scrap Fx***

Design team work using the amazing Scrap Fx Chipboard.The wedding photo is of my sister Audrey & her hubby Chris.I used Pion Design paper & prima flowers on this LO.The Scrap Fx pieces I used on this LO are the wordlet( Love of my life),(fourish S ornate) (2011005)  & the decorative frame classic.I cut both the decorative frame & the ornate flourish in half.I first primed all of the chippy's with gesso,let dry, then applied walnut stain dabber & with a paper towel removed the excess.When that was dry,I applied platinum liguid pearls on a stamp that was very fine print,& stamped it onto the chippy's.I still was not happy with the color so I applied more walnut stain & wiped of the excess,them used the same stamp & applied perfect pearls,perfect pearl.Thank you so much for having a peek.Rachelle

Moments in Time "Bo Bunny Sketch" **Scrap Fx**

The photo is of my youngest son Sigurdur (who is now 30 years old) with his Afi.Sigurdur was born on Afi's birthday so he became his namesake.They are 70 years apart in age.Afi was the most patient,kindest person I will probably ever know,as you can see in the photos.Afi is my husbands dad so we have a Sigurdur,a Sigurjon & aSigurdur.Afi passed away at the age of 90,he would have 100 last August. I did this LO using the Bo Bunny Sketch Friday,provided by Diana Fisher for Sketchy Thursdays.I used the amazing BoBunny weekend market collection,plus some of the double dot.I love the rich colors of this collection!!!I was inspired by Tracey (AKA)Garden of Grace with her hemp flowers,you can find the tut on her blog.The amazing Scrap Fx chippies I used on this LO were,wordlet (Moments in Time),wordlet theme pack remember,precious,moments,mini cogs& spinners.I just love playing with all of this scrappy stuff.Thank you for taking a peek....Rachelle

Lazy Days of Summer ***Scrap Fx****(Scraps of Elegance)

Design Team work using the amazing Scrap Fx,lazer cut chipboard.The photo is a photo I took of a friend of mine in my garden.I used the beautiful Bo Bunny Country garden collection that was in Marchs beautiful Scraps of Elegance Kit.The beautiful pin is designed by Mandy (AKA) Crafty Sprinkles.The Scrap Fx Chippy's used on this LO are the wordlet Lazy days of Summer (2011009),simple frame rectangle & the small circle butterfly frame (2011162).The wordlet comes in one piece but I cut it to go with my LO,(you can really play with all of these chippys).I first primed all the pieces with gesso,let dry,then I applied denim paint dabber,once that was dry I applied denim blue tattered angels,let dry then I applied Blingz under the sea.I used white opal liquid pearl & diamond stickles on the butterfly circle frame.Scrap Fx is having a blog hop from May 3rd to May 6th,come & join in there is a amazing prize they are giving out!!Thank you for having a peek...Rachelle

Experience Life's Journey "Scraps of Darkness" "Scrap Fx"

Photo is of my son Erlendur & his Grad date.I used the beautiful Bo Bunny Serenity out of this months amazing kit from Scraps of Darkness.I used Sue Pups beautiful sketch for this month &I also added some amazing Scrap Fx chippys to the LO (Butterfly corner,wordlet experience life's journy,newspaper frame small,(I cut it into photo corners) & spiral stem..TFL
