Life is Good Scrap Fx*

Design team LO for Scrap Fx.A photo I took of my oldest son Sigurdur & his Afi at Afi's farm.Afi's favorite sayings were all food is good,life is good.I used Bo Bunny Weekend Market Collection on this LO & lots of the amazing Scrap Fx Chippy's.The chippy's used were wordlet Life is Good (2012099),large cog (2012092) cogs (2007184),mini cogs (2011007),fence post & rail (2012092) & hinges.

So what I did on all of my chippies,is first used wild honey stain,then dabbed on a little vintage photo stain,then rock candy crackle,once dry terra cotta perfect alcohol ink & perfect pearl bronze,once dry I inked the edges ,with black.For the large cog I did the same steps but when I applied the crackle I added jump rings & beads then let dry & add the ink & glimmer mist. This month we are featuring farm & country & wordlets,there is so much to choose from!!!Thank you for taking a peek & for your amazing comments....Rachelle

Fly (CSI #11) **Scrap FX*

I love playing with CSI,so much fun!!!

This is the LO I did for the challenge.

The photo is of my middle son Erlendur.I used on this LO the beautiful pion design paper & the amazing Scrap Fx chippys.The chippys used on this LO were the retro circles corner (2010273), kite (2011224) & chisel alpha lc large (2006116).On the corner & kite I used gesso,then rock candy crackle,then applied denim & yellow glimmer mist with a paint brush.I did the same with the alpha only first I used molding paste,stamped it,then did as I did to the other chippys.Here are some close ups of detail.

Building the Dream Scrap Fx

Design team work for Scrap Fx,I used the beautiful Bo Bunny weekend market,I just love this collection,the photo is a grad photo of my youngest son Tandri.

The Scrap Fx Chippys used on this LO are,wordlet Building the Dream (2010153),chicken wire,(2011186),steampunk clock face (2011055),hinges,pen nibs (2011278), doodad C (2007034) & antique timepiece.All I did to the chippies was stain them & ink the edges.

Treat ( Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge)

I did this LO for the Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge,using the beautiful Weekend Market,I just love this Collection!!!! I also added some of the amazing Scrap Fx Chippys, I used the Dog Theme pack 2007277 & Dog Bones 2007268.The photo's are of one of my 5 dogs.TFL

The sketch was designed by Kristine Davidson,for Creative Scrappers. This is what I did with this amazing sketch.

Bloom Baby Bloom Scrap FxCSI #18

The photo is of my BF granddaughter baby Kaylee.I took this photo when she was only a day old,she is 7 months old now & is such a little sweetheart.This is a 7 x 12 shadow box from Scrap Fx.To take the photo of the shadow box,I glued it on matching paper,then temporally attached the lace to it,once I took the photo's I removed the lace & cut off the excess paper (this allowed me to have a good background for my shadow box). I use G 45 Little Darlings & Scrap Fx Shadow Box,Decorative Frame Artsy,Baby Embellishment Pack (200920), Baby Wordlet theme pack (2009020), the Curly Bird (2012084)& the Victorian Baby Carriage(2011101), I just love the way this turned out,what a wonderful baby gift,I will be sure to do another shadow box,so much fun!!!!

This is a close up of the Victorian baby carriage,it is so beautiful.I first painted it with a couple coats of vintage white acrylic paint,then I applied a little bit of liquid pearls cantaloupe.On the body of the carriage I used rock candy crackle,to give it a aged look,then I used liquid accents on the wheels to give them dimension.Once dry I glued on lace & bling..

This is a close up of the curly bird,soother,& rattle,I used the same as I did on the carriage,I used crackle on the curly bird & the inside frame,& liquid accents on all the other pieces.
