Time Goes By ****Scrap Fx****

Design team work for Scrap Fx. This month we will be working with chippy's that go along with country & farm Theme's.The photo is of my oldest son Sigurdur with Afi at the farm.I used Bo Bunny Weekend Market collection & Bo Bunny Ec Cetera on this LO.I was inspired by Tracey (AKA) Garden of Grace, with her hemp flowers ,you can find her amazing tut for flowers on her blog.

I used the Scrap Fx wordlet, Time Goes By (20102950),Tractor (2012085),wood grain twigs (2012080) & chicken wire (2011186)

I didn't do a lot with the chippy's as I wanted them to just look rustic, so all I used was rust alcohol ink,bronze perfect pearls mist,StazOn Metallic inker, copper & then I inked the edges with black

We will also be working with wordlets,& wordlet theme packs this month,I just love them,what awesome way to completed your LO & there is so many to choose from!!!

Country Living ******Scrap Fx*****

Design team LO for Scrap Fx,this month we are working on the Farm & Country Theme.I just love all the different chippys that Scrap Fx  has, that work into these themes.The photo is Afi's old red barn & the smaller photo is of my oldest son Sigurdur with Amma.I used Bo Bunny weekend market collection for this LO.& you can find the tut on Tracey's blog (AKA)Garden of Grace,for the awesome hemp flower.

Scrap Fx Chippys used on this LO...Weather vane (2011225), wordlet (Country Living(2011010),wire fence (2012075),barbed wire frame (2011163). I did not do a lot to the chippy's because I wanted to keep them rustic,I used rust alcohol ink,bronze perfect pearls & StazOn Metallic ink on the wordlet  & barbed wire frame,I used the same products on the fence,but for the post I also used rock candy crackle,& for the wire part of the fence I only used StazOn Metallic.I did the  same to the weather vane as I did to the fence post,but also used liquid pearls on the rosters head.

We will also be featuring wordlets & wordlet theme packs this month,I just love the way they complete your LO,& Scrap Fx has many to choose from.Thank you for taking a peek....Rachelle

Harvest Time *****Scrap Fx****

Design Team work for Scrap Fx using there amazing chippies.I took the photo of my 3 boys.I used Bo Bunny Et Cetera Collection & Bo Bunny double dot. I love this collection.The Scrap Fx chippies I used on this LO are wordlet,Harvest Time(2012093) rope rings (2012090),wheat stalks (2012082),scare crow (2011228),& seagulls (2010246).I was inspired by Tracy AKA (Garden of Grace 0With her awesome hemp flower.You can find her tut on her blog.

This shows a close up of the scare crow & the wheat stalks,for the wheat stalks I applied walnut stain,& on the heads I also applied glossy accents,& sprinkled on micro beads when the accents was still wet.For the scare crow I used midnight blue glimmer mist for the body,the patches & hat are black alcohol ink,& the face & hands are copper staz on.

This photo shows a close up of the rope ring & the seagulls,I first stained the ring with vintage photo,then iI applied glossy accents to give dimension.Once dry I applied black alcohol ink over the accents. For the seagulls I first applied molding paste & with a paper pierce made lines in the wings.Once dry I applied midnight blue glimmer mist & copper accents.

This is a close up of the wordlet harvest time I used for this LO.For the font I used black ink & slate glimmer mist,The wheat is the same as the wheat stalks.This month we will be featuring farm & country LO's as well as wordlets.Thank you for having a peek & for your wonderful comments....Rachelle

A Mothers Love ***Scrap Fx***

Design team work using the amazing Scrap Fx, Lazer cut Chipboard.The photo is a photo I of a friend of mine & her daughter.I used the beautiful Prima Romantique Collection on this LO. The Scrap FX pieces I used on this LO were the wordlet theme pack ( Love,Cherish,Adore) (2007219),Ornate Chandelier (2009263),Script Alpha,& the Arch Window.I first primed all the chippy pieces with gesso,let dry,then I randomly applied a bit of walnut stain,then quickly wiped it off.On the wordlets I used my finger to rub on petal pink liquid pearls,then I applied glossy accents,once dry I applied scattered straw stickles.The white part of the chandelier is gesso,with scattered straw stickles applied over,the pink part is petal pink liquid pearls,once dry I applied glossy accents,let dry then apply scattered straw stickles.Thank you for having a peek..& joining in on the blog hop!!!.Rachelle

Scrap Fx Blog Hop

Love of my Life ***Scrap Fx***

Design team work using the amazing Scrap Fx Chipboard.The wedding photo is of my sister Audrey & her hubby Chris.I used Pion Design paper & prima flowers on this LO.The Scrap Fx pieces I used on this LO are the wordlet( Love of my life),(fourish S ornate) (2011005)  & the decorative frame classic.I cut both the decorative frame & the ornate flourish in half.I first primed all of the chippy's with gesso,let dry, then applied walnut stain dabber & with a paper towel removed the excess.When that was dry,I applied platinum liguid pearls on a stamp that was very fine print,& stamped it onto the chippy's.I still was not happy with the color so I applied more walnut stain & wiped of the excess,them used the same stamp & applied perfect pearls,perfect pearl.Thank you so much for having a peek.Rachelle
